Lovely little bar at the beginning of the town. Calm and tranquil, Popped in for a lunchtime drink after shopping. Free tasty tapas were given with each drink. Friendly patron.

I have loved this little bar on the edge of town for years. It makes the best coffee in town by a mile. Very good value for money and you can sit and watch the world go by outside. Friendly staff.

Llegamos de ruta en moto, 12.30 de la mañana, tarde para desayunar y pronto para comer. El señor de la barra nos ofreció todos los desayunos pese a la hora, pero lo mejor de todo que al vernos con hambre, ya que llevábamos rato andando con las motos, nos ofreció un bocata que llevaba de todo. No miento. Nos sentó como Dios.

Hemos comido aquí y la atención, la comida y el ambiente han sido muy correctos. Es un restaurante local regentado por gente local con usuarios locales !!! Que te traen de lujo. El menú del día por 13 euros ha sido muy correcto, tres primeros y tres segundos correctos y para todos los gustos, nosotros nos decidimos por: Espaguetis a la marinera que estaban muy buenos y champiñones rellenos que al tener queso mi mujer no podía comerlos y el camarero nos los cambio por champiñones a la parrilla DELICIOSOS !!!. De Segundo comimos unas costillas a la brasa muy ricas y una fritura de pescado perfecta acompañada de unas patatas fritas NATURALES !!! Y la comida nada de nada GRASIENTA como dicen algunas críticas. Además antes de comer nos pusieron una ensalada muy rica.
Yo aquí estoy de paso visitando los pueblos de las alpujarras y no gano nada puntuando bien el lugar.
Solo por poner una pega son las moscas 🪰 y alguna que otra avispa que nos dieron la comida jajajajajajaja pero eso se arregla entrando al comedor !!! Ahoraaaaa que pierdes las vistas de Sierra Nevada.
Lo dicho hemos comido muy bien.

Sometimes we reviewers are very bad at evaluating these types of establishments, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of tourism! We ate here, and the service, food, and atmosphere were all very good. It's a local restaurant run by local people with local guests! They serve you luxury. The set menu for 13 euros was very good, with three starters and three main courses that catered for all tastes. We decided on: Spaghetti alla marinière, which was very good, and stuffed mushrooms, which my wife couldn't eat because they had cheese in them, so the waiter swapped them for DELICIOUS grilled mushrooms! For our main course, we had delicious grilled ribs and a perfect fried fish dish accompanied by some plain fries! And the food was not at all greasy, as some reviews say. They also served us a delicious salad before lunch. I'm just passing through, visiting the villages of the Alpujarras, and I gain nothing by giving this place a good rating. The only thing I have to say is the flies 🪰 and the occasional wasp that came with our food, hahahahahaha, but that's fixed by going into the dining room!!! Now you lose the views of the Sierra Nevada. As I said, we ate very well. Thanks for keeping these neighborhood bars alive!!!! Long live local hospitality.

Heel leuk locaal eetcafé, wasr je ook binnen aan de bar een drankje kan doen. . Schoon, vriendelijk, erg lekker en niet duur. Diverse malen gegeten bij Paco. Bij je drankje krijg je altijd iets kleins te eten. Erg leuk! Volgend jaar gaan we er zeker weer naartoe om te eten of om een drankje te doen.
